What is an RSS Feed?
RSS defined by Wikipedia: "RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a simple XML-based system that allows users to subscribe to their favorite Websites. Using RSS, Websites can put their content into a standardized format, which can be viewed and organized using software called an "RSS reader", "feed reader" or an "aggregator".
How can I read RSS feeds?
To read an RSS feed you'll need a RSS reader, which will check for and inform you of new content received from the RSS feed. There are many products out there including download-able apps and of course Web based solutions. Google Reader and Bloglines are just a few of the popular web readers available. They provide a central place for you to quickly scan and read the various feeds you have subscribed to.
